Here at Skydas, we officially appoint accredited partners in selected countries to sell our Skydas range of products.
Over the last few months, however, we have noted numerous companies around the world, particularly in the UK, claiming to be accredited Skydas partners and suppliers when that is certainly NOT the case.
Sadly, people who have purchased products from these companies have been left both out of pocket and very disappointed with the finished door because it is actually a fake security door product that has turned out to be wholly sub-standard once fitted.
We operate and manufacture under extremely rigorous and exacting standards to ensure that each and every door we produce is of exceptional quality and fit for purpose. Over the last two decades, we have invested significant sums in research and development to enable us to design and deliver the world’s most burglar-resistant doors.
Please be cautious when making a purchase and, if you are in the UK, please note that Secure House Limited is our ONLY accredited partner in the UK to sell and install Skydas doors. If any other company shows you a Skydas certificate it will not be an official certificate as they DO NOT have the legal rights to sell Skydas products.
If you think you have purchased a product that pertains to be manufactured by us but you’re worried it might be a fake, please contact us direct via email [email protected]
We’re going to ecobuild at ExCel in London from 6 – 8 March 2018 and we’d love to see you there on our stand at D1C!
At the show, the Secure House team will be presenting several new additions, specifically for passive homes and other eco building projects, to our extensive security door range. These include the SKYDAS 2000, a steel security door which offers a rating of thermal transmittance of just 1W ((m2K) to effectively save heat in the home. Available in a variety of finishes and shades it offers unlimited design possibilities with single, double, side or upper panels and either an in- or outswing option.
Front doors come in all sorts of different materials and many are manufactured using a combination of materials. But what is the best material for a front door?
It’s one the most frequently asked questions we are asked here at Secure House and, in our opinion, it has to be a door made from steel. Our home security doors are the most advanced front door solution on the market today, and they’re our undoubtedly our best selling and most popular doors with customers.
Steel doors v. timber doors
Highly affordable and energy efficient (so they will save you money on all fronts!), our steel doors feature all the design benefits of a timber door plus they offer all the advantages of a steel door. These advantages include the fact that they are burglar and fire resistant, plus they also deliver excellent noise reduction, thermal, water and wind insulation.
Timber doors are always visually stunning which make them popular with many people. On the downside, even though they are often made from hardwood, they don’t provide the same level of security as a steel door; they also need to be protected from the elements so will need to be repainted or refinished regularly.
The best of both worlds
Our strong and durable steel security doors do, in fact, offer the best of both worlds since we have a wide variety that have wood-effect finish so they actually look like they’re made from timber!
All the materials that go into our products are the very best available. Our doors are the perfect marriage of artistic design with technical know-how and they are specifically designed to protect your home from intruders whilst delivering the ultimate kerb-appeal and turning heads for all the right reasons.
Stylish and secure, our steel security doors are beautiful and functional which proves that steel is the best material for front doors!
