As mentioned in the previous section, there are many factors to consider before deciding on what product to buy. We already talked about stainless steel doors and how they are gaining traction in the industry as being sort of a jack of all trades solution for many customers.

This is mainly because it offers much more sturdiness within itself than other alternatives such as aluminum or metal alloy variants. Furthermore, those steel structures can easily be improved upon by adapting various solutions for the door leaf, frame, locks, among other things.

Some of the main aspects of our Communal doors include:

  • Fully accredited security option – every single one of communal entrance doors that we offer are graded for the EN 1627:2011 as well as PAS 24 security classes, which means they are secure by design. Furthermore, every solution is periodically tested for burglar resistance in accordance with EN 1627:2011, A1:2016 and PAS 24 standards.
  • Enhanced door frame – all of our communal doors are made from a reinforced steel frame ensuring the best possible security and durability with the top of the range model offering as much as 115 mm thickness in steel panels.
  • Flexibility in terms of design – just because you choose a sturdy option for your communal entrance, that doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice the overall look of your workspace or residential building. Allow us to customize your doors in terms of opening direction, structure and preferred design style. Variety of glazing options are also available to add both style an additional security. Choose from a partially glazed (with vision panels) or fully glazed option to create the look you desire.
  • Bespoke lock system – one of the features we’re most proud of in our doors is the advanced multipoint locking system ensuring additional safety for any building. This solution also comes with a specialized manganese plate providing additional protection against drilling.
  • Major focus on insulation – we understand that various fire hazards can be a common issue for many people interested in the right set of communal doors. Our solutions are developed with a major focus on thermal insulation, with a 60 mm layer of rock wool being at its core.
  • FD30 fire resistance compliance – Our front door range is rigorously designed to comply with FD30 fire resistance standards. This means each door is capable of withstanding fire for a minimum of 30 minutes, providing crucial extra time for safe evacuation and fire control. This feature is integral for any flat entrance fire door in order to ensure the safety and protection of occupants in both residential and commercial buildings. The doors are constructed with materials and a design that are specifically chosen to impede the spread of flames and smoke, making them an essential component in fire safety strategy.

Among other things.

Most common types of Communal entrance doors

When considering a set of security doors for your workspaces or communal entrances, deciding on the right door type in terms of the way it operates can be a crucial step for convenience.

Here are some of these types below.

  1. Swing doors – the most common type of door is a simple set of swing security doors where the door leaf opens up and closes manually. These standard doors are especially common in residential areas, which is why they are one of most popular types of doors in communal areas.
  2. Sliding doors – choosing a set of modern and quality stainless steel security doors, doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice comfort. These types of doors operate automatically via an electronic access control system and can offer better ease of access, while still maintaining their sturdy nature.
  3. Storage doors – these doors are specifically designed for those that want enhanced security for an area involving valuable storage and other goods which means that they often come with security grilles to provide extra protection. They’re most common on business premises. Access control can also be customized by design for manual or automatic use.
  4. Custom options – custom steel doors can be designed based on the unique circumstances of a residential, social housing or workspace building. Again, here the access control and other factors can be engineered to your needs as well. If you’re actively looking for such an option, be sure to contact our team and see what can be done for your project.
