After we added a range of Crittall-style steel doors, windows and room dividers to our steel portfolio last summer, we had a huge response from both new and existing clients wanting to include these stunning products in their homes. We hadn’t however, anticipated the demand from property owners installing communal entrance doors – they were just as eager!
The main distinguishing and sought-after feature of Crittall-style doors and windows is the slim lines and grid-like finish that can be achieved. Having such a narrow and sleek steel frame, the doors and windows allow an abundance of light into any home or property. As a result, they can really open up any area in a home or residential building to give extra space and a real feeling or openness.
Our Crittall-style doors are all created bespoke to a particular design so when we were approached by this client who wanted to retain the industrial heritage of the city centre property he was turning into luxury flats, a Crittall-style communal entrance door was at the top of his list. So, we put together a bespoke design which ticked all the boxes.
Not only does the new door look effortlessly stylish, but it is also incredibly secure with security glazing and state-of-the-art entry system. Apparently, several of the tenants have commented on the door too which was great to hear!
If you’d like to find out more about our Crittall-style range and the extensive range of ironmongery that we have to complement both doors and windows, please contact any of the Secure House team on 0207 859 4207 [email protected] and we can arrange a consultation.
