An Englishman’s home is his castle, and protecting your family and your valuables from harm has to be one of the primary concerns for any home owner. And if you have commercial premises on which valuable goods or tools are stored, then a front or internal security door option along with security windows can give you peace of mind at those times when there are no personnel on the premises. Here are just a few of the reasons why installing a metal security door and security windows might benefit your property.

• Increased property value
• Peace of mind
• Prevent break-ins
• Reduced home insurance costs
• Protect your family and belongings
• Protect your commercial premises, stock and tools

A burglar will always want to enter your property making as little nose as possible, in order not to draw attention to himself and raise the suspicions of people nearby.

However, the average burglar will quickly be discouraged once he discovers that he is trying to break through custom security doors made from a durable bent metal construction with drill-proof locks, or a steel-framed security window with bulletproof glass. Even equipped with a sledge hammer, crowbars, wedges, jemmies and an angle grinder, he will not be able to force entry, and will find trying a very noisy and risky process!

What attributes of our strong front doors render it an effective solution?

Our security doors are designed with both safety and design in mind. Choose from a variety of styles including Victorian, Georgian or more modern security front door solutions, all designed to not only to invoke a strong presence but to perform at providing the highest security level as well.

Moreover, we also offer a number of customization options for all our doors, allowing you to personalize your door solution even further. Select from a number of color shades, glazing and milling types for your doors all meant to match and enhance the look of your home.

Combination of two locks: Assa 565 and  FIAM 672

We recommend you use two locks. A simple bolt with the handle latch (Assa 565 which gives security class 2 by EN 1627 standard) is operated with a thumbturn from inside and a key externally. A top lock (FIAM 672 or Mottura) bolts into the side, top and bottom of the door and gives security class 3 or 4 by EN 1627 standard depending on door type. You can easily secure your house while you’re at home with a simple 90 degree thumbturn on the inside of the front door. When you’re leaving your property you can use the second lock operated externally with a key to completely secure your front door.
