Ideal for use across a wide range of commercial applications including embassies, data centres, high-risk areas and even shooting ranges, our Skydas Premium Plus bullet proof doors are manufactured to your bespoke requirements and can be supplied and installed worldwide. They can also be incorporated into new or existing residential panic or safe rooms and will provide unrivalled protection for high net worth individuals who may be at risk of home invasion or kidnap.
It’s important to note that ballistic upgrades do not interfere with the overall of design of the door, each bullet proof door we manufacture will always be aesthetically pleasing and will look good wherever it is installed. As an added design element, we are able to incorporate bullet proof glass with smart ‘switchlabel’ film technology so the glass can be changed from clear to opaque at the touch of a button.
In relation to glazed bullet proof doors, we offer the choice of glazing in a number of different levels. The entry level glazing will provide protection from 9mm Magnum handgun shots – this is referred to as an FB4 according to EN1522 standard. If you decide on a higher level of protection, we recommend the FB6 according to EN1522 standard which will protect against bullets from rifle guns. Our bullet proof doors can also incorporate vision panels if require.
Both the Skydas Premium Plus FB4 and FB6 bullet proof doors are available as a single or double set, complete with bullet proof glass if specified, and can be manufactured to open either inwards or outwards as desired.
